Fall Festival

     2020 FALL FESTIVAL

Friday * Saturday * Sunday

October 2 – 4, 2020

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It’s that time of year again when you can feel that autumn is right around the corner, and with that comes our annual Fall Festival. Since so many of our planned gatherings must still be socially distanced due to the pandemic, this year we are approaching our Fall Festival in a different way.

All of the events we are planning will either be online or outdoors, with carefully managed social distancing. Every event will be a free-will offering, except for the Silent Auction. We sincerely hope you will enjoy what we have planned and will partake in our exciting new ways of spending time together. We need our Fall Festival to be successful, as the money raised helps with the operating budget of our parish and for programs such as Sharing and Caring Hands, Mobile Meals, Neighbors Inc., and others.

Here is a preliminary schedule of events (this list may change):

The Silent Auction will begin on Saturday, September 26, (the week before the festival weekend) and will be available online all week. Final bidding will be on Sunday, October 4.

The Talent Show videos can be submitted anytime starting now, and the winner will be announced on Sunday, October 4, after the 12 p.m. Mass.

Virtual Bingo will begin on Friday, October 2. We will have prizes!

Outdoor Movie Night is Saturday, October 3, following the 5 p.m. Mass. Concessions will be available on our beautiful lawn.

“To go” lunch boxes will be offered on Sunday, October 4, following the 12 noon Mass. You can either tailgate at your car, picnic on the lawn, or take the lunches home to enjoy. Weather permitting, we will have a few surprises that day!

We hope you will all participate in whatever way you feel comfortable. If you can volunteer your talent for the creation of the festival, donate silent-auction items, or if you have other ideas about how we can gather together while staying safely socially distanced, please contact me.
